Scott grabs a few things and tosses them into an overnight bag before heading to Allison's apartment. Luckily, she isn't far-- not that she could be, being in the same complex-- and he's knocking at the door a few short minutes later.
Allison is a whirlwind of action, picking up and cleaning her room. It’s only a little cluttered, but this is definitely one guest that she wants to impress. When she hears the door, she’s in the middle of making her bed. Straightening out the covers will have to make do. She hurries to the door and opens it with a smile.
Scott wouldn't care if Allison's room was an absolute tornado right now (or probably ever because it's Allison). When she answers the door so quickly, he can't help but grin. He obviously wasn't the only eager one, and that never stops being amazing.
"Hey, you," he says softly as he slips inside and before he even puts bag down, he kisses her softly. Truthfully, it's more weird that they aren't living together, since they'd just moved in together not so long ago back in Lawrence. But... he wasn't sure how to approach that again just yet, and he's not hating his current roommate situation, really. Even if this was a sudden and unexpected, necessary disappearing act out of his own apartment.
Allison is all too happy to kiss Scott back, placing her hands on his shoulders as she does so. She smiles into the kiss, happy to have him over at her apartment. It feels natural, a little more like Lawrence, like things are supposed to be. When she pulls away, Allison is still smiling up at Scott. He has a way of making her smile no matter what the situation is.
“That was nice,” she comments, regarding the kiss. Without asking, she volunteers to pick up his bag and carries it into her bedroom setting it down on the foot of the bed. Turning around, she faces him and shrugs, gesturing to their surroundings. “This is it. I haven’t gotten much of a chance to make it my own, but it’s home for now. The bed’s comfy, at least.” Allison smiles playfully, plopping down on the mattress and bouncing a little bit.
"Mmm, agreed." He grins and follows her as she leads the way through the apartment to her bedroom and sets his bag aside. The layout of the place seems exactly the same, and he supposes that makes sense, considering.
"You'll make it yours soon enough," of that he has no doubts. Allison is adaptable with the best of them, and he knows she'll adjust to this place in no time. Even easier now that they both have this whole multiverse thing under their belts already. He chuckles softly as he moves toward where she's sitting, "Yeah? Is it?" He asks, all but pinning her where she sits, leaning down to kiss her again, one hand going up to cup the side of her face as he leans over her, guiding her backward toward the mattress, sliding over her body in a near seamless motion. "Let me see," he mumbles against her lips, grinning.
