[She waits for Allison's words to come to a close, but the touch to her shoulder had brought her back to a need of just having her best friend here. Lydia moves to pull her into a hug, holding onto her tightly. She misses her every time she leaves and each time she comes back she just hopes it'll stick. Lydia doesn't go home out of fear of missing out on time with her.]

I'm so glad you're here.

[ Allison's arms also wrap around Lydia, hugging her close. It means the world to her knowing that her best friend is safe and sound and right in front of her. She rests her chin on Lydia's shoulder. ]

I'm glad you're here, too.

[ She smiles even though Lydia can't see the expression on her face. ]

[She holds onto her for a bit longer, then pulls away and tucks a stray hair behind Allison's ear.]

Have you been doing okay here? I mean, other than all the bad news Isaac delivered to you.

[ She nods, smile fading just a little bit. How does one handle the news of one's death, exactly? At least Allison seemed to be dealing with it. ]

I've been doing alright. I've made some new acquaintances, seen the zoo... It's been pretty nice, bad news aside. I might stay here a while.
