Mostly painless, yeah. Seems to be working so far. Haven't scared anyone off so much yet.

There's gotta be some way of making sense of the different timelines. I never know who knows what.

Well, that's good. I guess people have to be pretty open-minded considering the circumstances. They have to be pretty willing to accept just about anyone's background or history.

How are you liking Eudio?

It's an interesting place. I like it. How have you liked living here?

It's better than the alternative. I have to admit that it's a lot better knowing that my childhood friend is here too, and other people from the Ark. My friends.

It's a weird city though, don't get me wrong. I somehow have a miniature goat as a pet. People were catching these things called Pokemon several months ago. There was a green meteor shower even before that.

I'm sure having friends around makes it much easier. I can't imagine being here alone.

A miniature pet goat? That's not really a traditional pet. What's its name? Pokemon?? That's crazy! The meteor shower had to be kind of pretty, though, right?

A pygmy. Her name is Juniper and I hate to admit it, but she's very spoiled.

The zoo's an interesting place for all. I suggest checking it out with a friend. I hope there's another meteor shower like that again. The rocks people collected were pretty special.

Juniper! That's cute. Pets are meant to be spoiled, I think. I wouldn't really know. I never really had a pet before. They seem fun, though.

Maybe you could show me the zoo sometime. Assuming you'd want to.

The rocks were supposed to make you feel a little better if you just kept them around, in your pocket.

They definitely encourage adoption in the city. I'd recommend it.

I do want to go to the zoo with you. When would you like to go?

Then it's a good thing that meteor shower took place.

Maybe. I'm not sure I'd make the best pet parent.

When are you free? I don't have a job yet, so I've got lots of time.

[ Allison couldn’t have asked for a nicer day to go to the zoo. The morning is clear and bright with the sun shining bright in a blue sky. One thing that strikes her about Eudio is that it really is a beautiful place.

She arrives at the zoo’s front entrance first and it’s done purposely. She wants to be on time to make a good first impression.

It’s been a long time since Allison has visited a zoo. Her memories of the last time are vague. It was a class trip and she wasn’t given time to linger, to really look at the animals. This time she suspects she’ll be able to do that, although this trip is also about getting to know Wells. ]

[ wells is punctual. he tries to be, not wanting to seem as if he isn't interested. and he really, really is. maybe he's over sentimental sometimes but he thinks that they have at least connected thus far over a cuddlr exchange.

when allison comes into view, wells finds himself breaking into a grin. she's prettier in person. ]

Allison? [ he takes his hands out of the pockets of his parka and waves. ]

[ Catching sight of Wells, Allison smiles at him. She also raises a hand and waves to him. ]

Hey, Wells!

[ She steps closer to him. He really is cute in person, not that his picture didn’t do him justice. ]

You look nice.

[ ‘Nice’ is an understatement, but she doesn’t want to come on too strong on their first meeting. She flashes a smile and nods to the zoo’s front gates. ]

Ready to show me around?

As do you.

[ his smile broadens because how can you not when allison smiles like that? at her question, he nods and opens his arm to let her enter the zoo first. ] Now, I'm not an animal expert, but I can tell you that there will be creatures from other worlds. I'd never learned about most of this.

[ and the most he'd seen were poor radioactive creatures, deformed by time and science. it's a thought that comes to him every so often, but he puts it far from his mind as they make their way into the zoo. ]

[ She raises her eyebrows. This will be like no other zoo she could have seen in her own world. ] Wow. Then I guess this zoo really is unique. It’ll be kind of a first for me, at least some of it.

[ Allison nods slightly as Wells gestures for her to enter first and she goes ahead, walking into the zoo. Right away she finds herself looking around, completely captured by her surroundings. She does look back, though, to smile at Wells. ]

[ he falls into step with her easily, hands hanging naturally at his sides when he catches up to her. ] Look. Loth cats. [ funny looking things with a strange temperament. he'd also seen them when the city hosted safaris. ]

I think there are several dragons here too.

[proudofus]

[ Her eyes widen slightly at the cats. Already she's seeing something she's never seen before, something she doesn't think she ever could have seen back home, but when he mentions the dragons Allison looks at him with utter amazement on her face. ]

Like the fire-breathing kind? Do they fly?

[uprights]

[ there's a grin on his face when he watches allison react in sheer wonder. ]

Pretty sure they do. I keep hearing about this big zoo escape that happened last year and the creatures made a huge mess of the city so I imagine things got burnt along the way. Sometimes you'll see something big flying overhead. People keep interesting pets.

[ with a nod of his head to the left, he gestures for her to follow. ] There's something cool down this way.

[proudofus]

[ Her eyebrows shoot up. ]

Dragons as pets. That's... Wow.

[ She laughs. As he gestures for her to follow she nods and follows him, eyes scanning each side of the path with keen interest to see what he might want to show her. ]

Yeah, this girl I knew. She was obsessed with telling people about her dragon, going on rides and all that.

[ he chuckles and sighs a little. it's been a while since she left. that girl was difficult to figure out but it was nice to have someone else from home who didn't think he was the worst at one point in her life. ]

I'm not prepared for that kind of upkeep to be honest. We're almost there, by the way.
