Oh and the time when all the zoo animals escaped. That was pretty wild. No pun intended.

Do you maybe wanna grab dinner or something? There's some stuff we should talk about but it's probably better to do it in person instead of over text.

sorry this is late!
This is a different Red than the one who used to manage the diner where Isaac worked. Like with Allison, it doesn't matter that she doesn't remember her previous time here or their friendship; it's enough to know she's happy and doing just as well for herself. Unlike Allison, however, Red isn't going to recognize him and seek him out of her own accord. That's what makes things tricky. There's only so long he can avoid seeing Allison without it being weird or suspicious which is why he just decided to tackle things head on. Of course it doesn't help that Allison's reactions to the news of her death have been pretty varied thus far so Isaac isn't entirely sure what to expect with this version of her. She clearly doesn't know though whereas the last one did... It's another reason why he decided to take it upon himself to be the one to break the news this time. Lydia had been pretty torn up about the whole thing and he doesn't want to make her go through something traumatic like that again.
Isaac takes a seat outside in the small patio area so that he'll spot Allison right away when she arrives. ]
no problemo!
She strides up to Red’s and spots Isaac immediately. Seeing him is more of a relief than she thought it would be. He’s the first person from home that she’s met up with, so far. Her lips curl into a smile. ]
Hey.
[ Sliding a chair out, Allison takes a seat across from him. ]
I hope I didn’t keep you waiting too long.

[ Despite what he's brought her here to tell her, Isaac can't help but to grin a bit as Allison sits down across from him, filled with a familiar, happy warmth at the sight of her. ]
You hungry at all? [ He slides over the menu, which he had just finished perusing. ]
no subject
I’m a little hungry… [ Allison sets the menu down. ] I could go for a grilled cheese, but I have a feeling you wanted to talk about something?
[ It’s just a feeling, but she likes to think she knows Isaac pretty well. She’s still smiling as she looks at him expectantly. ]
no subject
Yeah but it might put you off your appetite. [ He sighs a bit defeatedly. This is going to be difficult even with the best of intentions in mind. ]
no subject
I can eat later. [ She looks concerned, for herself and for Isaac. ] What is it, Isaac? What's wrong?
no subject
Look -- there's no easy way to say this, so I'm just gonna -- [ He makes a noise of obvious frustration at himself. ]
Back at home. You died. There was nothing any of us could do to stop it. That's part of why I'm even here.
no subject
Wow. I didn't expect it then, but I guess it makes sense.
[ She pauses a second. ]
Is everyone else okay?
no subject
Yeah. I think so. Lydia is -- she's here too. She's the furthest out of all of us.
[ He clears his throat. ]
I guess -- there's something else you should probably know.
no subject
Okay.
[ She nods, taking a moment to prepare herself for whatever it is he has to say. ]
What is it?
no subject
Uh, well. Lydia and I. We were sort of... dating. Here. For awhile.
no subject
Oh. Okay.
[ She swallows and nods slowly, trying to take the news as well as she can. It is hard to hear that someone she was sort of with was dating her best friend, but the circumstances aren't that simple. ]
I get it. I died.
no subject
I don't think either of us ever meant for it to get so serious.
Anyway it doesn't matter. It's over now. [ Isaac doesn't intend to sound so hurt about it. He gives Allison's hand a light squeeze. ]
But I didn't want you to think I, we, were keeping secrets from you.
no subject
It's okay. I'm glad that you told me.
[ There's the ghost of a smile on her lips. ]
Thanks, Isaac.
[ It couldn't have been easy to tell her any of it. Maybe it was even as difficult to deliver the news as it was to receive it. Allison holds onto his hand thinking about this. ]

I really am glad you're here.
